The Chale app privacy policy separately covers using the app and placing orders with shops, including the shop’s responsibility for its own customer records.
Information we collect
When you apply, we collect your business name, business type, town or area, contact name, phone number and email address. We also keep the application’s status, relevant team notes and the dates of our review and follow-up.
Our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver and protect the website. We use request limits to prevent misuse. Please do not send passwords, payment PINs or sensitive customer records through this form.
How we use it
We use these details to assess your application, contact you about your business, arrange setup and support, and keep a record of our decisions. Our team reviews applications. Applying does not automatically approve or activate your business.
Who receives it
Authorised team members and providers that support hosting, storage, security and email delivery receive the information needed for those purposes. The site and application database run on Cloudflare. Information may be processed outside Ghana. We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep application information while assessing and following up on your request, and for as long as needed for an ongoing business relationship or legal obligations. You can contact us to withdraw an application or ask for deletion. Some records may need to be retained to meet those obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to its use where applicable, or withdraw consent where we rely on it. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Security and changes
We use safeguards to protect your information, although no system is completely secure. We will update this notice when our practices change and show the revision date above.
